This chapter had two major topics using twitter and social bookmarking. I really have not gotten used to twitter nor do I spend much on twitter. However, social bookmarking is something that I truly use in my professional and personal life. I have grown to love Symbaloo. I use a Symbaloo account for my students and families where I have websites arranged by subject and grade, learning coach resources, and important websites to make families successful in the virtual world. I also use Symbaloo to house all my favorite websites that I enjoy in my personal life. I have categories for kids activities, cooking, fitness, and news sites.

Symbaloo Is a very useful tool in assisting you through categorization of different areas and helping you easily find them. The fact that you can arrange things by subject and grade learning resources is truly powerful.
I hope you invest more time in Twitter, as I truly believe you will find it to be a resource that can assist you in the long run. However like any tool, one must spend some time with it before the true strength and power that becomes apparent.

This class has made me a little more used to Twitter. At least I know I need to go on twice a week to make a few tweets. In the past I would go onto Twitter about once a month. Do you think you'll ever try using Twitter in the classroom?

I also struggle with Twitter and am trying to use it more to get the most out of it. I do like social bookmarking and have been using Diigo since we looked at it in one of our earlier classes. You are one of several that love Symboloo. After this week, I think will become a convert.

I too LOVE Symbaloo! I haven't found much use for Twitter though. Maybe it's because I haven't found as many of my friends on it, or the right people to follow.
