Blair McCalmont Chapter 8

I use screen casting a lot in my work. We make jings on our many to do forms and technical issues that we have in our job. They have been really helpful in demonstrating excel spreadsheets that we do, how to scan pdf for work samples, and how to do the many things parents have to do in the Online School. Screen casting has taken place of the long phone calls I used to have with parents when walking them through step by step on things. Now, I have a library of jings that I simply send to my parents. I think it has become a lifesaver for myself and my families.

I have started to use Podcast in my class. This week, I used voki to send out my weekly announcements to my students. They really seemed to respond well to them.
