Out of the three multi-media publishing formats covered in this chapter, podcasting, video and screencasting, only one of them holds great promise for direct application in my workplace-SCREENCASTING! While podcasting and live streaming have many applications in a classroom setting, screencasting offers up the most promise to my work with the ability to produce step by step tutorials while on a specific website. This would be a helpful tool for an online guide to logging into our health education programs. Another great opportunity for marketing and teaching is video publishing online. In fact, I am producing three videos currently that feature teachers and students using our bullying prevention program. Screencasting can be extremely useful especially in the context of which you are discussing it.
I wonder if PBIS could be enhanced by having students do other things like podcasting. What are your thoughts?

You bring up an interesting suggestion, Louis. Perhaps podcasting could be a way for students to reflect on their learning after they have completed our bullying prevention program. It might have some potential to give students to "tell their story" as this topic can be very personal.

I really like the idea of podcasting with younger students. You can send a quick reminder that they can comprehend, since younger students don't have the skills to read at higher levels yet.
