The Social Web is just a little too social for me sometimes! I fully appreciate the sharing and gathering of information and ideas from many sources. During this class I have begun using some of the tools noted in this chapter, i.e. Twitter, Diigo and RSS feeds for school use but I am struggling with if/how/when to incorporate these tools for work use.
From what I can tell, for me a solution to control what I am sharing is to create separate accounts for personal and professional use... that way if my social tool, i.e. Google+, looks to invite users to share with me, my personal and professional worlds can stay separate. Yes, this did happen, I managed to invite my work colleagues to my wolfmail Google+ account... what a pain.
Another example is that when I created my Twitter account and began following a group that I work with, other members (individual members) began following me... I'd better be careful what I put out there!!!
